I am delighted that following a successful proficiency test Deborah has been entered onto the BACP Register.
It is reassuring for the public to know that qualified Counsellors/Psychotherapists undergo extensive training to gain formal qualifications, are in supervised practice, evidence 450 + practice hours and then entry onto the Register. As such they also adhere to an ethical framework to keep clients safe.
Deborah continues to develop her skills and is working towards accreditation next and her Masters in Counselling and Therapeutic Communication.
Always attend a qualified registered therapist, there are many individuals who claim to be therapists without the required training to evidence professional standards.
